Chelsea Football Club is shocked and horrified by the recent surge in online racial abuse targeting our players.
The abuse aimed at Wes Fofana following yesterday’s game is completely unacceptable and will not be tolerated.
Wes and all of our players have our full backing. We will work closely with the relevant authorities to identify those responsible and ensure the strongest possible consequences.
