Adu-Boahene to Take Legal Action Against Attorney General for Defamation Amid $5.2M Looting Allegations

Zoe, Akyea & Co., the legal representatives of Kwabena Adu-Boahene, the former Director-General of the National Signals Bureau (NSB), and his wife, Angela Adjei-Boateng, have announced plans to take legal action against the Office of the Attorney-General (A-G) for defamation.

This follows a press conference held by Attorney-General Dr. Dominic Ayine, where he publicly revealed allegations of financial misappropriation involving Mr. Adu-Boahene during his tenure at the NSB, which began in 2018.

In his statement on Monday, March 24th, Dr. Ayine claimed that Mr. Adu-Boahene had amassed over GH₵39 million from the purchase of a $7 million cyber defence system software from the Israeli company ISC Holdings Limited in 2020.
